The Peace Never Seems To Last

images (1)I hate how powerful money can be. Or more specifically, the love of it.

I’m no longer living in Red Rock with Red and Marlboro. The amounts I was being charged kept going up and up and up, and finally I had to actually put my foot down and say no. It didn’t go over well at all. Long story short, I am now staying in a hotel, thanks to the kindness of Exodus. I have a week to figure something out, and I think I might have a good plan.

Any prayers would be appreciated. 🙂

At least this time, I knew things wouldn’t stay this quiet for me long. I’m getting the hang of this kind of life.

  1. Catherine, your life has been turned upside down for the past couple (or more) years. I have prayed of course and am sending a couple of verses hopefully to encourage you… ❤ ❤ ❤ Love Dianae xx

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

  2. Amen, it’s been that way in spades for me as well the last couple of years as well, with much trouble and persecution. I feel like a gypsy with no uncertain home. But the Lord Jesus always seems to make a way where there seems to be no way. He will too…..but only if we trust him absolutely, no matter what, without worrying or doubting. Funny it works that way. But after all, He’s God. It’s just another test for us, that our faith will come forth as pure gold. But……Working things out for us is child’s play for the Great I AM.

  3. Also praying for you! Love your blog about being weary. It seems weariness is in epidemic proportions. I’ve sent that blog to a non-blog-reading friend that has been battling cancer among other health problems for a few years. She has always been VERY health conscious, only ate organic, used only natural products, worked out, even did yoga regularly. We must depend on the Lord and HIS Word to carry us through. Thankfully, she’s a believer and just needed a reminder of His Grace and loving kindness.

  4. I shall leave the religious bits to your other readers lol but I am just going to say this you can only be treated like a doormat if you lie down for people to walk over you so you go girl for standing strong and saying nope not letting you walk all over me, might seem like a step back but I see it as you taking control, holding your head up high and maintaining your self respect and dignity, as I see it you just took a huge leap forward 😀
