Tomorrow, I am leaving on a train to Austin to meet up with my dad and my brother, Michael. They haven’t seen each other since Michael was a little boy. It’s a long story to explain why, and to try to simplify it would only paint people I love in the harshest of lights, so I’m going to save that one for another day.
About 12 minutes ago, I found out Michael is going to have a documentary camera crew following him around to document the occasion. So, I have to now go re-pack as I normally dress ghetto-casual when I’m on vacation. It should only take about 30 seconds to shove the one pair of jeans I own that aren’t faded with holes in the knees in my suitcase. 🙂
