Two Awards! Yay!

I know a lot of people have nominated me for awards that I didn’t accept when I was temporarily losing my mind these last several months, but I want to say that I really appreciated all of you guys remembering me. So, I thought I’d get back into the swing of a multi-subject blog instead of my MidLife Crisis – Life Sucks mode. 🙂 I’m doing much better these days, and I’m ready to write about other things.

And, wouldn’t you know it, Cedell at Life in a Nutshell has nominated me for a few awards. Yay! Cedelle writes an on-line journal at Life in a Nutshell. She was born on the same day as Bugletto only two years later. Check her site out! Thank you, Cedelle!

The first award is The One Lovely Blog Award.

 

Ok. So, the rules. You have to state 7 things about yourself your readers don’t know. I’ve done this so many times, plus bared my soul to you all  with very, very personal stuff going on in my life, this is a real challenge. So, I’m going to change it up a bit, ’cause seriously, I think you guys know every single interesting thing about me.

I’m going to put some of my bucket list on here:

1. I want to own a horse before I die.

2. I want to finish this book I’m writing before I qualify for social security.

3. I want to live in a log cabin in the middle of the woods someday.

4. I’d like to grow six inches. Or, learn to walk in high heels. 🙂

5. I want to visit Israel just once before I die.

6. I’d like to live in Ireland one day.

7. I want to learn to line dance. 🙂

I’m only nominating one person for this award, not that you all don’t deserve it. But, I’ve read ya’ll sites, and most of you already have these awards!! We have a nice group of talent in our little Blog Society, don’t we? I’m nominating Ivonne at Sex, Spirit, Soul Mates, and Chocolate — Ivonne’s Journey. She’s already been through the destruction of a marriage and has been very instrumental in giving me hope that I’ll make it through all of this stuff one day, too. Love you, Ivonne!

There have been a lot of people who have mentored me through this crisis, and if I were to list all of you, this post would take a year to write. But I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart!

This next award is kind of funny, but it is definitely one I’ve never been nominated for, but I think it is kind of appropriate for this blog site these days. It is called The Don’t Do A D#@m Thing Award…I Just Like Your Blog..LOL… Now, I am a tiny bit confused about the message here. Is it an award that you didn’t really earn, they just like you anyways, or an award for kind of failing at this blog stuff? Still, it made me laugh, so I’m accepting it with pride. 🙂

I’m nominating Paula at Paula Acton – Scribblings of An Aspiring Author because she’s got the same kind of sense of humor I do and I think she’d get a big kick out of it!
