Two awards in two days….I just want to cry!!

Here’s some more random facts about me…

1. Brown eyes is my favorite eye color.

2. My favorite colors are green and brown.

3. My favorite number is 6 weeks and 4 days — lol!

4. I am an amateur photographer. 

5. I hate being in a crowd.

6. I have three children, and 5 stepchildren. The oldest stepdaughter is only 7 years younger than I am.

Life of a Female Bible Warrior – I like this site because the Warrior Princess is always in a fighting mode — She’s no-nonsense…a quality I respect in my fellow Christian.

Daily Pep Talk – I listened to this woman conduct a bible study with small children, and while her message was good, the whole thing made me laugh with delight. The kids closed her bible, and she had problems finding her place again. They answered her questions with random musings that had nothing to do with the message, and interrupted her constantly. She’s hands-down the bravest woman on air today!!

Mommy Not Friend – This woman takes being a mother seriously. She didn’t pop out a few kids so she could live vicariously through them. Being a mommy not friend myself, I always enjoy reading another person that doesn’t put up with stupidity, even in her own offspring. You have got to check out her site…

Originalapplejunkie – This girl is upbeat, friendly, gentle, kind..the list goes on and on. At the moment, her elbow skin is sloughing off, and her doctor is more interested in her communication skills than the fact that she could possibly be turning into one of the Walking Dead. Please check out her site!!

Snipewife – There is definitely a military theme running all through my family, so I enjoy Snipewife’s day-to-day musings about her life in the military, plus how her husband being in it too affects her life. Plus, she writes really, really well.

The person who nominated me, Terry, is one of my first followers. She is always on my side, seeming always to give me the benefit of the doubt, even when I suspect I’m just a wee bit wrong. I have come to love her, and she is in my prayers these days. She is a caregiver to her brother, and you will be able to tell from her writings, she has had a struggle in this life. She’s poetic, vulnerable, gentle, and sweet. Check her out!!

Thank you again for my sunshine award. Now, if anyone knows how I can get this emblem on my page, I sure would appreciate it. It took me HOURS to put the Versatile Blogger on there, and it is crooked…I can’t seem to figure this out! Damn Widgets!
